Guest Recital: John Harbison, piano and Rose Mary Harbison, violin, with Stetson faculty

Composer and pianist John Harbison, Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his wife, violinist Rose Mary Harbison, will be performing a concert featuring a variety of his own works as well as Sonata for Piano and Violin in C major, K. 403 by W.A. Mozart. The recipient of numerous awards and honors (including the prestigious MacArthur Foundation award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the Heinz Award), Harbison has composed music for most of America's premiere musical institutions, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Chicago Symphony, Boston Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. This event is sponsored by the Stetson University Artists and Lecturers Series. COMPLIMENTARY ADMISSION
