School of Music Audition Request

All prospective music students are required to audition for the appropriate applied music faculty for acceptance into the School of Music. Students may be selected to receive music scholarships based on performance ability, the programmatic needs of the School of Music, academic quality and official admittance to the university.

Note : When DVDs are received they are acknowledged in writing. If you do not receive acknowledgement within two weeks, please let us know, as DVDs occasionally get lost in the mail. Please note that audition DVDs will not be returned.


Note: Composition portfolios must be received by February 25. Please include copies of any recordings of the compositions in your portfolio. Composition and Music Technology applicants may be contacted to set up an interview with a member of the faculty.

Anticipated Performance Repertoire:

List the works to be performed at your audition, referring to the Stetson School of Music website (stetson.edu/music/prospective/requirements) for requirements. If you are submitting a DVD, please list repertoire in the order performed.
