• The Gillespie Museum will offer workshops on geocaching as part of its Science Saturday series. Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, visitors of all ages may participate in this real-world treasure hunt, using GPS units to track caches (all around us) and become part of the culture of 6 million geocachers worldwide. The museum’s mineral collection and earth science displays will be open for browsing throughout the morning; workshops begin next door at the Rinker Environmental Learning Center at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.  Free and open to all. (Participants are encouraged to bring personal GPS units, but there will be some to share.) The Gillespie Museum/Rinker Environmental Learning Center are located on the southeast corner of campus, at 234 East Michigan Avenue.  For information: 386.822.7330 or gillespiemuseum@stetson.edu
