The Department of Religious Studies will be offering a spring semester 2014 course that will include optional travel to London and Paris during spring break to visit several museums, including the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Musée d’Orsay, and the Louvre. This full-semester course, RELS 168A-95 “The Bible in Art and Artifact,” will focus on ancient Near Eastern and Greco-Roman archaeological objects, as well as artwork, related to the Bible. (Students may participate in the trip without taking the course if space is available.) An information session will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 4 p.m. in 308 Elizabeth Hall.
