There are two movies this week you won’t want to miss – and they are both cultural credits!

Tapped – Tuesday, April 9th from 6:30PM-8:30PM in Sage 257

Won Best Documentary at both the Anchorage International Film Festival and Eugene International Film Festival and won the Indie Fest Award of Excellence.  A film examining the role of the bottled water industry and its effects on health, climate change, pollution, and oil.  View the trailer here.

Flight – Thursday, April 11th from 6:00PM-8:00PM in Sage 257

Won Black Reel Award for Best Actor (Denzel Washington), won Chicago International Film Festival Founder’s Award, and won Hollywood Film Festival Spotlight Award.  A film about an airline pilot who saves almost all his passengers on his malfunctioning airliner.  He is then known as a national hero but an investigation into the accident reveals something troubling.  View the trailer here.
